PRE-SALE TICKETS: Calvert football  is selling pre-sale tickets for its playoff game Convoy Crestview. Tickets will be on sale from 8 a.m.-6p.m., Friday during the school day and Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon in the high school office. Tickets are $8 in advance and $9 at the gate.

n Clyde football playoff tickets will be available, as the   board of education and McPherson Middle School will have tickets available starting this morning. Tickets will be available all day today and Friday. Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. tickets will be available at the high school. Saturday morning tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to noon at the stadium. Tickets prices are $8 pre-sale, $9 at the gate and reserve tickets are $10. Reserve tickets are only available at the high school. Playoff T-shirts are available for $10 at the high school or middle school.

n Pre-sale tickets for the Bellevue-Ottawa-Glandorf game Friday will be sold at Bellevue Thursday and Friday. all tickets will cost $8, while all tickets at the game will be $9. The Bellevue Athletic Department receives $1.20 of each pre-sale ticket. BUS TRIP: TheBest of the Best Basketball will be sponoring a bus trip with Bliss Transfers to see the World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills Dec. 26. Tickets are available at $75 and $110 and includes round trip transportation from the Tiffin Mall parking lot, a ticket to the game, and access to the court after the game to attempt a free-throw. Prizes went to Skip Halcom (first shot closest to pin No. 5, long putt, No. 1), John Powell (second shot closest to pin on No. 7) and Sheiber (third shot closet to pin, No. 9).

BASKETBALL: Tiffin Thunder basketball will have tryouts for fourth-sixth grade boys in Tiffin City schools. Boys should attend Nov. 10-11 dates at the Tiffin Development Center gym. Times are, fourth grade  from 6-7 p.m. each day, fifth grade from 7-8 p.m. each day, and sixth grade 8-9 p.m. each day.BOWLING: Bob Reinhart had the men’s high score of 202 and high series of 832 in the Allen Eiry Center League at Heritage Lanes. Jean Wolfe had the women’s high score of 156. Betty Sendelbach had the women’s high series of 277. Splits were converted by Ken Jones (5-8-10), Philip Miller (5-7), Wolfe (5-7) and Glenda Franklin (7-8).
