Mohawk shuts out Edon

SYCAMORE — Parker Brown ran for three scores and 86 yards to help Mohawk blank Edon 26-0 in Friday’s season finale.

Brown snapped a scoreless tie with a 35-yard sprint with 4:50 left in the first quarter, then added fourth-quarter TD runs of 6 and 13 yards.Keith Jenkins also bulled in from 2 yards out midway through the third quarter for the Warriors.

Mohawk rolled up 303 yards rushing, paced by Bryce Kirian’s 168 yards on 14 carriers.Meanwhile, the Bombers managed just 75 yards rushing and 89 passing. Carson Brandt ran for 65 yards and passed for another 57 to lead Edon.

H-L’s Kreais dominates

BASCOM — Zach Kreais figured in seven touchdowns Friday as Hopewell-Loudon thumped Blanchard Valley Conference foe Riverdale 55-21.Kreais scored on runs of 24 and 4 yards, and had TD tosses covering 11 and 16 yards to Gauge Sadler, 15 and 19 yards to Trent Ardner and 25 yards to John Turco.

Turco opened the scoring with a 40-yard sprint midway through the first quarter to help the Chieftains jump out 14-0 and lead 21-7 at the end of the period.

Kreais hit on 23 of his 30 passes for 316 yards and ran three times for 40 yards.

Sadler caught 10 passes for 137 yards and Ardner reeled in nine receptions for 129 yards, while Turco had 12 carries for 124 yards.

Foos gets loose

BELLEVUE — Alec Foos had a hand in four of Bellevue’s first five touchdowns Friday as the Redmen rolled past Ontario 52-18 in Northern Ohio League play.

Foos ran for 45, 5 and 13 yards for touchdowns, and added a 25-yard scoring throw to Dakota McPeak to help Bellevue jump out 38-0 in the second quarter.

Ethan Hundley added an 11-yard scoring run in the first quarter, and bulled in from the 3 in the third.

Bruce Ray sprinted in from the 19 in the third period.

The Warriors got a 6-yard Cameron Todd TD run, while Todd had scoring passes of 69 and 7 yards to Quan Jackson.

Foos finished with 174 yards rushing, McPeak caught seven passes for 158 yards and Hundley had eight carries for 95 yards.

Jackson caught five passes for 112 yards for Ontario.

Eagles’ Treisch run over Rams

NORTH ROBINSON — Blake Treisch ran for 213 yards and three touchdowns Friday to fuel Colonel Crawford’s 34-14 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Upper Sandusky.

Treisch had TD runs of 4, 43 and 12 yards for the Eagles.

Trevor Shawber opened the scoring with a 2-yard plunge late in the first quarter and added a 34-yard interception return for a TD early in the fourth. He ended with 105 yards rushing.

The Rams got touchdown runs of 5 yards from Nate McMillan and 1 yard from Sam Musgrave, both in the fourth quarter.

Shane Pack ran 22 times for 167 yards for Upper Sandusky and Musgrave had 14 carries for 89 yards.

Key scores fuel Fliers

VERMILION — Clyde regained momentum with a score late in the first half, then opened the second half with a kickoff return for a TD Friday on the way to beating Sandusky Bay Conference foe Vermilion 48-20.

Clyde led 21-0 after the first quarter, but the Sailors cut that to 21-14 in the second after Seth Hurd plowed in from the 1 and caught a 29-yard TD pass from Davis McDaniel.

Lucas Nicely found John Jackson for a 7-yard touchdown pass with 36 seconds left in the first half for the Fliers, and Joe Bair returned the second-half kickoff 90 yards for another score.

Clyde tacked on Frank Sewell TD runs of 8 and 4 yards later in the third quarter to pull away.

Nicely got the Fliers going early with scoring runs of 1 and 10 yards sandwiched around a 9-yard TD toss to Tanner Davenport in the first quarter.

Vermilion’s third score came in the fourth quarter when Jonah Pfeil caught a 47-yard strike from Caine Zannoni.

Nicely ended 19 for 24 passing for 220 yards. Davenport caught five passes for 96 yards.

McDaniel caught six passes for 92 yards for the Sailors, and Pfeil’s two catches accounted for 67 yards. Hurd went 8 for 24 passing for 117 yards, but threw four interceptions.

Royals whip Bucks to go 10-0

BUCYRUS — Zach Hoffman threw for three scores and ran for another in the first half Friday as Wynford roughed up Buckeye Central 62-12, capping a 10-0 season for the Northern 10 Athletic Conference champion Royals.

Hoffman had TD tosses of 7 yards to Brandon Shutler and 57 yards to Blake Williamson in the first quarter before hitting Trey Stone with a 3-yard scoring pass in the second period. Hoffman also added an 83-yard touchdown sprint later in the second quarter.

Wynford’s other first-half scores came on runs of 10 yards by Zack Houck and 3 yards by Robbie Miller.Shutler caught a 13-yard TD strike from Wyatt Smith in the third quarter, Alizah Watson ran in from 5 yards out and Joel Griffin scored on a 65-yard run for the Royals.

The Bucks got Max Loy TD passes of 19 and 30 yards to Jeff Hall in the fourth quarter.

Hoffman went 12 for 18 passing for 181 yards and ran four times for another 103 yards.

Houck had 128 yards on five carries, Shutler caught six passes for 58 yards and Williamson ended with two catches for 75 yards.

The Bucks managed just 58 yards passing and 66 rushing.
