Warriors take down Redmen in 3

SYCAMORE – Destini Oler tallied 10 kills, seven digs, a pair of blocks and an ace for Mohawk as the Warriors swept Bucyrus 25-19, 25-20, 25-18 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

Emily Conner added nine kills, four blocks and a pair of digs for Mohawk (13-4, 10-2 N10), while Addie Thiery had seven kills, four digs and two aces, Kaylee Ward recorded four kills and four digs and Chelsey Trusty collected three kills, 27 assists and eight digs.

Madi Chester had three kills and three digs, Emily Pursell added three assists and 11 digs and Alexa Konkle finished with three assists, four digs and three aces.

Bucks dominate Rams

UPPER SANDUSKY – Jenna Karl continued her stellar play with 18 kills and 12 digs for Buckeye Central in a 25-15, 15-17, 25-5 Northern 10 Athletic Conference victory against Upper Sandusky Thursday.

Backing up Karl was Sarah Heydinger with six kills and six aces, while Addie Ackerman added a pair of assists and dished out 29 assists, Erin Baldosser had three kills and 10 digs and Claire Songer ended with five digs.

Alaney Oney and Kenedi Hayden both pounded four kills, while Rachel Martin had three. Lucy Smith set up 13 assists and made 19 digs, while Erika Rosario also made 19 digs and Bre Rosario finished with nine digs.

Clyde blows by Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR – Oak Harbor pushed Clyde some in three sets, but that’s all it could manage as the Fliers took care of the Rockets 25-16, 26-24, 25-20 in Sandusky Bay Conference action.

Jacey Groover had 13 kills and three blocks for the Fliers (11-6, 6-4 SBC), while Grace Borden tallied eight kills and 14 digs, Heidi Marshall added 13 kills and 17 digs, Maddie Greenslade recorded nine kills and four blocks, Alicia Carter-Koonce registered four kills and four digs, Sydnee Krieger-Helms made 15 digs and Morgan Bannister finished with 37 assists.

Tigers sneak past Eagles in 5

NORTH ROBINSON – Seneca East went on the road Thursday and came away with a 16-25, 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 15-10 hard-fought Northern 10 Athletic Conference victory.

Aubrey Saylors led the Tigers with 13 kills and three blocks. They also got 12 kills and four aces from Taylor Gimenez, 13 assists, 15 digs and four aces for Jillian Allgyre and 17 digs by Amber Hescht.

“We’ve left some games slip through our fingers that we knew we had no business losing, but tonight everyone stepped up and did their role,” Tigers coach Greg Hendrix said.

OF gets 16th win

OLD FORT – Sydney Clouse hammered 13 kills for Old Fort as the Stockaders made quick work of Sandusky Bay Conference rival New Riegel 25-9, 25-13, 25-19 Thursday.

Kiely Taylor had 11 kills and a pair of digs for the Stockaders (16-1, 8-0 SBC), while Jordan Magers tallied five kills, Caylie Menkhoff collected five kills, a pair of aces and six digs and Morgan Miller recorded four kills, three digs and two blocks. Allison Adelsperger totaled two aces, five digs and 34 assists and Peyton Miller finished with 14 digs.

Norwalk handles Bellevue

BELLEVUE – Payton Vogel recorded nine kills and four blocks for Bellevue, but it wasn’t nearly enough as Norwalk swept the Lady Red 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 in Northern Ohio League play.

Morgan Hicks backed Vogel with six kills and eight digs, Allison Dendinger added four kills and McKenna David smashed three kills.

Molly Bullion dished out 19 assists and made 13 digs, Maycie Buckner had eight digs and Sophia Pressler made seven digs.

Senecas roll through Raiders

KANSAS – Lexie White lit up Lakota Thursday with 11 kills and 23 digs for Calvert in a 25-23, 25-15, 25-18 Sandusky Bay Conference win.

Lila Gehring hammered seven kills for Calvert, while Mallary Neilsen added five kills and three blocks, Sophie Burtis had 17 assists and nine digs, Shelby Hemminger made 17 digs, Kennedy Smith collected a pair of kills, eight assists and 13 digs and Madison Jones finished served up four aces.

TC knocks back Willard

WILLARD – Columbian raced away in the third game Thursday to complete a 25-20, 25-21, 25-8 Northern Ohio League win against Willard.

Niki Cole tallied 23 assists, four digs, three aces and two kills for the Tornadoes, and Shayna Schwartz (ace) came up with 21 digs.

Macey Allen backed them with seven kills, five digs and three aces, Hunter Breidenbach (ace) tallied 12 assists and two kills, Tyler Ward added six digs, Abby Dryfuse (ace) and Amara Solomon both slammed two kills and two blocks, and Anna Latona (kill) had two digs.

Redmen drop Genoa

GENOA – Meme Settles and Evion Taylor combined for 35 digs and four teammates each added 10 Thursday as Fostoria overpowered Northern Buckeye Conference foe Genoa 25-8, 25-16, 25-15.

Meme Settles tallied 20 digs and 15 kills for the Redmen (13-5, 7-3 NBC) and Taylor added 15 digs, five kills and two aces.

Tyriana Settles, Gabby Gregg, Bailey Robinson and Valencia Cousin backed them with 10 digs each.

Tyriana Settles also drilled 25 kills and two solo blocks, Gregg went 92 for 92 setting with 42 assists while serving three aces, and Cousin lined three aces.

Meredith Grine chipped in three kills for Fostoria, which will hold its Dig Pink event Tuesday in a home match against Woodmore to raise money for breast cancer awareness for the Sideout Foundation.

Carey takes out Wynford in 4

BUCYRUS – Sydney Kin recorded 20 kills, seven blocks, 11 digs and an ace for Carey as the Blue Devils held off Wynford 25-5, 25-17, 20-25, 25-15 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

Kin, a junior, recorded her 718th kill in the victory and became just the fourth in school history to have more than 700 in a career.

Hannah Zimmerman added seven aces, five kills and 23 digs for Carey (12-5, 9-3 N10), while Mckenzie Row tallied 11 kills and 15 digs, Jessica Johnson lined eight kills, Jenna Smalley dished 28 assists, Lawyer Stansberry added 14 assists and Dana Worst made 12 digs.
