Thiery, Warriors dominate Rockets

MORRAL – Addie Thiery smashed 15 kills and made three digs for Mohawk as the Warriors swept Ridgedale 25-15, 25-13, 25-15 in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference match.

Kaylee Ward added six kills, eight aces and five digs for Mohawk (9-2, 7-1 N10), while Emily Conner had five kills and four blocks, Madi Chester tallied four kills and eight digs and Destini Oler finished with a pair of kills, four blocks and five digs. Chelsey Trusty had two kills, 24 assists, 11 digs and two blocks, and Emily Pursell ended with nine digs.

Taylor-led Stockaders smash Raiders

OLD FORT – Kiely Taylor hammered 16 kills and served up a pair of aces for Old Fort as the Stockaders swept Lakota 25-10, 25-9, 25-14 Thursday in Sandusky Bay Conference play.

Old Fort’s Allison Adelsperger, who passed the 2,000 career assists mark Tuesday in a win against St. Wendelin, recorded 30 assists, while Jordan Magers added nine kills and seven blocks, Sydney Clouse smacked six kills, Mackenzie Ward had three kills and six digs, Sydney Hossler registered three aces and Peyton Miller finished with three aces and 13 digs.

Bucks sweep Eagles

NEW WASHINGTON – Jenna Karl hammered 16 kills and made 13 digs for Buckeye Central in a 25-20, 25-19, 25-16 Northern 10 Athletic Conference victory over Colonel Crawford Thursday.

Backing up Karl was Sarah Heydinger with 14 kills, Lexi Evak added six kills, Claire Songer made 12 digs, Bailey Agin had nine digs, Erin Baldosser tallied nine digs and two aces and Addison Ackerman, who passed the 1,000 career assists mark last Thursday against Carey, dished 34 assists and registered six digs.

Rams battle back for N10 win

UPPER SANDUSKY – After dropping the first set, Upper Sandusky fought back to take the Northern 10 Athletic Conference match with Wynford, 21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Rachel Martin led the Rams with 14 kills, while Alaney Oney and Tori Damron each hammered nine. Damron had three blocks and Oney added 11 digs.

Lucy Smith dished 45 assists, added 15 digs and three aces for USHS, Lillie Orians had six kills and Anna Johnson finished with four. Erika Rosario collected 25 digs, while Kamryn Huston added 13 and Bre Rosario ended with nine.

Gillig’s big night fuels NR

New Riegel’s Brianna Gillig was all over the court Thursday as she recorded 18 kills, 13 digs and four aces as the Blue Jackets got past Calvert 25-19, 25-18, 25-19 in a Sandusky Bay Conference tilt.

Lindsay Bouillon chipped in 11 kills, 15 assists and 10 digs for the Blue Jackets, while Haley Hoepf and Tiffany Hemminger each had four kills. Kylie Tiell dished 14 assists and made six digs and Christen Hohman ended with 21 digs.

For Calvert, Lexie White collected nine kills and 19 digs, while Lila Gehring added nine kills and six digs, Sophie Burtis had 15 assists, five digs and a pair of kills, Kennedy Smith tallied six assists and eight digs and Shelby Hemminger finished with a pair of aces and 10 digs.

Tigers handle Fliers

CLYDE – Clyde tried to keep it close with Huron Thursday, but the powerhouse Tigers dominated the Fliers 25-16, 25-12, 25-16 in Sandusky Bay Conference play.

Jacey Groover smashed 12 kills and had three blocks for the Fliers (6-4, 3-3 SBC), while Grace Borden added seven kills and 10 digs, Maddie Greenslade collected four kills and five blocks, Heidi Marshall lined two kills and made 10 digs and Alicia Carter-Koonce finished with three kills and three blocks.

Morgan Bannister totaled 13 digs, two kills and 22 assists, Sydnee Krieger-Helms added 11 digs and Megan Smith ended up with seven digs.

Redmen stay hot

BLOOMDALE – Fostoria notched its 11th win Thursday as the Redmen topped Northern Buckeye Conference rival Elmwood, 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Tyriana Settles posted 25 kills and 22 digs for FHS (11-2, 6-1 NBC), while Meme Settles added 11 kills and 25 digs and Gabby Gregg tied her own school record for assists with 50, and added 10 digs.

Evion Taylor tallied 10 kills and 10 digs, Meredith Grine had five kills and four blocks and Bailey Robinson and Madison Gillig both ended with 10 digs.

TC blows by Sandusky

Emily Bogard registered nine kills, five aces and a pair of blocks for Columbian Thursday in a 25-14, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of Sandusky in Northern Ohio League play.

Macy Allen lined six kills for Columbian (4-7, 2-3 NOL), while Niki Cole had 22 assists and three aces, Emily Davis collected 11 kills, seven digs and three aces, Shayna Schwartz added six aces and seven digs, Hunter Breidenbach had 12 assists and a pair of aces, Abby Dryfuse recorded four kills and a pair of blocks and Tyler Ward made four digs.

Kin-led Blue Devils get 8th win

CAREY – Junior Sydney Kin nailed 20 kills and had four blocks for Carey in a 25-16, 25-16, 25-15 sweep of Bucyrus in Northern 10 Athletic Conference action.

Mckenzie Row chipped in seven kills, three aces and 12 digs for the Blue Devils (8-4, 5-2 N10), while Hannah Zimmerman collected six kills, three aces and 12 digs, Jessica Johnson lined six kills and made three blocks, Dana Worst made 10 digs and Jenna Smalley finished with 28 assists.

St. Joe tops SW in 4

FREMONT – St. Wendelin extended the match to four games, but in the end, it fell to Fremont St. Joe as the Crimson Streaks won the Sandusky Bay Conference matchup 26-24, 25-15, 18-25, 25-18.

Sophia Volpe led the Mohawks (3-11) with 10 aces and 12 digs. Grace Campbell added six aces and six digs, Peighton Troike smashed 11 kills and made two blocks, Taiah Douglas had seven kills and three blocks, Hannah Burns tallied 13 assists, five kills three blocks and 15 digs and Haley Guzman finished with 12 digs.
