Bellevue nips TC for fourth in league

CLYDE – Ontario edged Norwalk on a scorecard tiebreaker for the title and Bellevue held off Columbian for fourth Saturday at the Northern Ohio League Tournament at Green Hills.

The top two teams both shot a 315, but Ontario got the crown because it had the best fifth player score. Adam Miller and Lane Thomas both shot an 86 for Ontario, while Norwalk’s Jonah Merserau had a 91.

Bellevue slipped past Columbian 336-339 for fourth.

Noah Lawson keyed the Redmen with an 80 and Cody Snyder shot an 84

The Tornadoes got an 83 from Trevor McCarthy and an 84 from Luke Musil.
