Huron's Kovach outduels TC's Magill | Advertiser-Tribune HURON — Christian Magill did everything he could to extend Columbian's postseason. The Tornadoes' starting pitcher was brilliant in his team's postseason opener against Huron, allowing just three hits in six innings and striking out 12. The problem for Magill — and his teammates — was that the Tigers' Kyle Kovach was just as good. And an unearned run scored by Huron in the fourth inning proved the difference, as the Tigers advanced with a 1-0 victory. The Tigers moved to the Division II second round, where they will play at Bellevue on Thursda.
