Calvert continued its start to the season in Myrtle Beach by losing twice Thursday. They fell to Bishop Ireton 10-0, then got beaten by South Range, 18-6. In the first game, Christina Park took the loss, but she was done in by poor defense. Park pitched seven innings and allowed seven runs, but only three of those were earned. She allowed nine hits, walked one and struck out a pair. Calvert's defense committed nine errors behind her.
