RESULTS POLICY: Coaches are reminded that game results must be submitted to the Advertiser-Tribune by 10:30 p.m. the day of the game, match or meet. There are a number of ways to submit results to the A-T. The preferred methods are e-mail or fax. Results can be e-mailed to sports@)advertiser-tribune.com or faxed to (419) 447-3274. You also can drop them off in the mailbox at the office. The other option is calling the sports department at (419) 448-3250. First and last names of pertinent players as well as the final score, stats, site of the game and teams records should be included. Results must be received by 10:30 p.m. the day of the game, match or meet to be published. Anything beyond deadline will be eventually published in a severely condensed format.
GIRLS GOLF: North Baltimore shot a 199 to win a triangular, with Buckeye Central holding off Mohawk 216-225 for second. Katelynn Kinley and Chelsea Clinger each shot a 48 for Mohawk, Hannah Burks had a 62 and Heaven Immele added a 67.
JV TENNIS: Clyde’s Alayna Barrera, Ashtyn Gill, Saylor Meyer, Maddie St. Marie and Brooke Ameling all won singles matches against Oak Harbor.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Old Fort beat St. Wendelin 25-23, 25-8, getting six aces and five kills from Hali Kimmet and four aces and three kills from Whitney Bilger.
n Kylie Tiell dished 24 assists to fuel New Riegel’s 25-18, 27-25, 25-19 win over Sandusky St. Mary. Tiffany Hemminger and Shelby Mathias both drilled eight kills and Haley Hoepf and Liz Zoeller each lined seven, while Emily Hohman had 14 digs.
n Chelsey Trusty handed out 17 assists and Emily Conner smacked eight kills in Mohawk’s 25-10, 25-20 win over Bucyrus.
n Megan Siesel hammered eight aces and five kills as Seneca East beat Colonel Crawford 25-19, 19-25, 25-22.
JV SOCCER: Van Buren beat Upper Sandusky 2-0.
n Old Fort blanked Columbian 5-0. Oliver Stephens had 18 saves for TC.
FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Lauren Theis served seven aces and Emily Peters slammed six in New Riegel’s 15-25, 25-14, 25-11 win over Sandusky St. Mary. Theis also dished 10 assists, Peters drilled six kills and Tiffany Hemminger hammered seven kills.
JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk’s eighth grade upended Seneca East 25-18, 15-25, 25-13. Ellie French (2 digs) paced Seneca East with four kills and four aces and Ally Bridgeford slammed three blocks and three aces.
n Mohawk beat Seneca East 25-6, 25-27, 25-6 in a seventh grade match. Seneca East got three digs and two aces from Megan Rise and three digs from Mallory Beamer.
n Old Fort’s seventh grade beat St. Wendelin 25-14, 15-25, 25-10, thanks to Heidi Kissell’s 11 aces. Bailey Hill lined three kills, Ashlyn Magers had three assists and MarQue Harris drilled two kills.
n St. Wendelin defeated Old Fort’s eighth grade 25-23, 25-19. Madison Guth led Old Fort with four assists, Lydia Frankart served three aces and Amber Eubank lined two kills.
n New Riegel claimed a 25-19, 26-28, 25-23 seventh grade match from Sandusky St. Mary. Julia Reinhart tallied seven aces and four digs for New Riegel and Brooklyn Gillig lined four kills and two blocks.
n New Riegel’s eighth grade beat Sandusky St. Mary 25-17, 25-17. Madalyn Reinhart gave New Riegel three assists, Christen Hohman had 10 digs and five assists, Nicole Brickner tallied three kills and two digs and Victoria Provino lined two kills.

n Lowell Hosler, Jim Peterman, Stan Bowers, Brian Krauss and Tom Ruikkie shot 6 under to win Thursday’s Retirees League at Seneca Hills. Prizes went to Merle Krauss (long putt No. 11) and Paul R. Fey (closest to pin No. 18).
n There is a Fall League forming at Seneca Hills that will run Sept. 9-Oct. 21 on Tuesdays with a 4:45 p.m. start time. The league plays a ine-hole better ball handicapped format and is taking six to 20 two-man teams. League fee is $15 with weekly fees of $20 that include a cart ($14 walking). Weekly fees include automatic entry to skins games and prize holes. Deadline to sign up is Sunday.
n The Tiffin-Seneca United Way will host its second annual outing Sept. 13 at Clinton Heights. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $200 per team and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, two drink tickets per person, door prizes, skins, mulligans and a 50/50 drawing.
