Rams complete perfect NCC slate

CRESTLINE – Upper Sandusky capped a perfect North Central Conference slate by shutting out Crestline, 5-0.

The Rams’ improved to 6-0 in the NCC, and lost just two games all season.

Seth Sprang got the Rams rolling with a 6-0, 6-1 win over the Bulldogs’ Ryan Martin. Evan Scheck beat Crestline’s Cody Taylor, 6-1, 6-0, while Seth Frey beat Alex Langdon, 6-0, 6-0.

Upper Sandusky’s Daniel Maltsbarger and Aaron Ric topped Crestline’s Blake Miller and Hunter Music.

The Rams’ Drew Barth and Noah Frey won the second doubles by forfeit.

USHS improved to 8-3 overall, and will compete in the NCC tournament Saturday in Bucyrus.
