n The team of Frank Michniak, Brian Krauss and Gene Sherer were one over, winning the Monday’s Retirees League at Seneca Hills. Krauss was closest to the pin on No. 16, while Michniak had the long putt on No. 17 and a low gross of 36.

COLUMBIAN BASEBALL: Columbian will host Celina on May 15 at 5 p.m. in the sectional finals. Adult tickets are $6 and 4$ for students. Only NWDAB passes are acceptable.

n The annual Strike Out Cancer games for Columbian baseball and softball are May 16. Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m.

JV BASEBALL: Seneca East defeated Van Buren, 18-0. Ryan Bowerman had the win for the Tigers, allowing only one hit and fanning nine.

n Columbian lost to Bellevue, 7-5. Kris Wilson went 2 for 2 for the Tornadoes.

CALVERT CHEERLEADING: Calvert cheerleading tryouts are 10 a.m.-noon May 10 in the high school gymnasium. Tryout clinics are 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the gym. Learned material includes a sideline chant and dance and an original cheer must be created for tryouts. Accommodations will be made for any participant unable to tryout on the date.
