5K MUD RUN: The Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host a 5k Mud Run on June 7. There will be an adult race at 10:30 a.m. and a kid’s race at noon. SOCCER: The Tiffin Soccer Club will hold a player placement and parent meeting day on June 7. Players will be on field from 9-10 a. m. with the parent meeting from 10-10:30 a. m. This is for kids entering grades 6, 7 and 8 who want to play soccer this fall. The event will be held at Hidden Valley (within Hedges-Boyer Park). For more information visit

FUNDRAISER: KemoSabes Roadhouse Grill in Fostoria will host a fundraiser 11 a.m.-9 p.m. June 8 for Hopewell-Loudon sophomore wrestlers Damion Vitt and Alex Brock go to Walt Disney World Resort for the AAU Wrestling Scholastic Disney Duals. The wrestling event is June 26-July 1. They have been asked to join the Titan Wrestling Club out of Aurora. There will be a host of raffle items that you can purchase tickets to win. H-L ATHLETIC BOOSTERS: The Hopewell-Loudon Athletic Boosters will host a tour of the current athletic complex 8 a.m.-noon June 7.

SPEED CAMP: There will be a speed and agility camp June 16-20 and July 14-18 at Tiffin University’s Hanson Fitness Center. The camp is for both boys and girls grades 3-8 of all sports and ability levels. Pre-registration is $50 each or $80 for both. The day of camp cost is $65. GOLF: After three weeks in the Jeffrey Jewelry Best Ball League, the team of Jared Kuhlman and Derek Lewis lead with the low score of 34. Prizes went to Gary Lynch (closest in two No. 3) and Rich Focht (long putt No.8).
