JV BASEBALL: Columbian topped Willard, 11-2. Brennen Emmerine was 2 of 4 with one RBI and a double. Austin Parrott and Isaac Lewis each went 2 of 2 with two RBIs. Shane Huffman tripled while Kris Wilson and Isaac Moore each had a double.

JV TENNIS: Will Jones and Nate Wise, Dylan Wertz and Anton Talbot-Koehl, and Rushil Rana and Gavin Borer all picked up wins for Columbian in its match with Norwalk.

GOLF: The Miletti Golf Outing is June 8 at Seneca Hills with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 per golfer with teams of mixed foursomes. Cost includes pre-driving range, 18 holes, cart and steak dinner. Hole-in-one contest sponsored by Reineke Family Dealerships. n The Seneca Hills Tuesday Morning Ladies Golf League prizes went to Debbie Gerschutz (closest in three on No. 5), Nita Doran (longest drive on the No. 9 red tees), Carol Shook (longest drive on No. 9 yellow tees). Linda Lawrence, Patty Courtney and Georgene Miccichi had a three way tie (most two putts).

n Gary Hohman, Sam Paradiso, Pat Therriault and Dick Watson scored five under par in breezy conditions at Birch Run Golf Course to win the Bump’s Retiree Traveling Group Tuesday. Next week’s outing will be held at Green Hills Golf Course in Clyde beginning at 10 a. m.

n The Old Fort Ex-Hi Golf League starts Tuesday at Nature Trails in Bettsville. The Ex-Hi Over 50 League starts May 22. There will be a league meeting Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the Ex-Hi building. For more information call Ron Rau at (419) 937-6182.

RUNNING: The inaugural TK 5K to benefit pulmonary fibrosis is 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 28 at Hedges-Boyer Park. The race is in memory of Tom Kin, a Calvert graduate and Tiffin resident. Entry forms can be found at www(dot) or at the YMCA.
