Hornets sting St. Wendelin

RAWSON – Cory-Rawson jumped out in front and never gave up the lead as it upended St. Wendelin 48-35.

Grant Risner led the Hornets (7-14) with 26 points and was the leading rebounder with 12.

Chad Shepler added six points and Spencer Silvers tossed in four.

St. Wendelin’s Nick Root recorded a team-high 13 points while Steven Murray tossed in eight and Gabe Walters added six.

Walters also led the Mohawks (9-12) in rebounding with seven.

Tigers pounce on Raiders

KANSAS – Led by Tyler Trumbull’s 25 points, North Baltimore took down Midland Athletic League foe Lakota 66-54.

Chad Wright backed up Trumbull by tossing in 19 points of his own and Lane Bishop led the Tigers (9-12, 3-6) in rebounding with six.

Colin Timmons stepped up for Lakota with a team-best 15 points and seven rebounds. Dakota Bowling added nine points for the Raiders (7-13, 1-8) while Josh Kirkpatrick and Kevin Crowe each tossed in eight points.
