Truckers hit road block against TC

Both the Columbian girls and boys won their duals against Norwalk. The girls won 51-42 and the boys defeated the Truckers 49-43.

In the boys meet, TC’s Adam Young took the 200 freestyle in 2:07.01. Braden Kuhn posted a time of 24.3 seconds to win the 50 free. The 100 butterfly was won by Nate Ramsdell (1:04.99). Chris Gates (52:05) and Isaac Lewis (57.62) took first and second the 100 free. Gates grabbed the 100 backstroke (1:26.61) while Braden Kuhn won the 100 breaststroke (1:11.28).

Tornadoes Gates, Justin Schwartz, Lewis, and Kuhn took the 200 free relay (1:37.52) and the 400 free relay (3:45.57).

Natalie Howard keyed TC’s girls by taking the 100 free (59.52) and 100 back (1:07.93)

The Tornadoes also got wins from Alexis Desjardins (2:53.02) in the 200 IM, Kamryn Sharlow in the 50 free (28.26), and Bre Cooper in the 100 breast (1:26.61).

Kamryn Sharlow, Jordan Jarrett, Alexis Desjardins and Lindsay Young captured the 400 free relay (4:25.58), and claimed the 200 medley relay (2:09.38).
