Clock never strikes midnight on Ball in Bettsville

KANSAS – Dean Ball racked up 24 points and recorded 20 rebounds as Lakota romped on Bettsville, 105-24.

Casey Monroe and Kyle Below scored 10 points each for the Raiders (1-3).

Spencer King recorded six rebounds, while Dakota Bowling had five assists and four steals.

Kennith Stander led Bettsville with 12 points followed closely by Daniel Lee, who recorded 11.

Stander and Kaitlyn Dymond each had two rebounds for the Bobcats (0-3).

Redmen get first win

SYCAMORE – Three Redmen combined for 37 points Tuesday to lead the charge in a 68-45 win over Mohawk.

Kaleb Bemis registered 17 points, six assists and five steals for the Redmen (1-3), and Deandre Cannon and Hunter Abell each netted 10 points.

Cannon added five steals and Kagen Brown tossed in nine points.

Mitch Parker’s 14 points and Hunter Fitschen’s 10 keyed the Warriors (0-4).

Blue Devils turn back Rams

CAREY – Bryan Powers popped in 28 points and Jared Wentling registered a double-double Tuesday in Carey’s 68-57 win over Upper Scioto Valley.

Wentling backed Powers with 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Blue Devils (2-2).

Carey had a much better night of shooting, going 23 for 45 while the Rams (1-1) ended 18 for 53.
