WINTER SPORTS MEETING: New Riegel’s winter sports meeting for parents is Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

GOLF: In the Fall League at Clinton Heights, leading the league with 177 points is Mike Theis. Ron Kern was closest in two on No. 1, while Rick Theis had the long drive on No. 6. Kern had the low gross with 37.

n Gary Hohman, Steve Schaefer, Ray Krupp and Steve Meier shot 12 under to win the Bump’s Traveling League at Seneca Hills. Steve Bernard, Greg Bishop, Ron Burkett and Howard took second with a 7 under. The league goes to Loudon Meadows next Tuesday, staring at 10 a.m.

BASKETBALL: The Tiffin Thunder boys basketball teams will host tryouts for their fourth, fifth and sixth grade teams. Tryouts are Oct. 29, Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 at the Tiffin Developmental Center Gym. Times for the first night are fourth grade (5:30-6:30 p.m), fifth grade (6:30-7:30 p.m.) and sixth grade (7:30-8:30 p.m.). Players should arrive 15 minutes early.
