GOLF: In the Bump’s Tuesday Traveling League held at Clinton Heights, the team of Skip Halcomb, Dick Watson, Ken Gooding and John Schalk finished 10 under par. Second went to the team of Bill Dunlap, Larry Schalk, Bob Tiell and Dave Welly at eight under. The league will move to 10:30 a.m. next week at Seneca Hills.

n Mike Theis leads the Fall League at Clinton Heights with 145 points. Rick Theis and Ron Kern each fired a 35 to tie for the low gross. Prizes went to Carl Rainey (long drive No. 1) and Josh Predieri (closest in two No. 5).

YMCA: The second annual Tiffin Holiday Indoor Triathlon is Dec. 28. Registration is today through Dec. 24. Those who register before Dec. 16 are guaranteed a hooded sweatshirt. Cost is $45 for adults 19 and up, $25 for youth, $75 for adult relay, and $65 for youth relay. Launch times begin at 8 a.m and stagger every 45 minutes. There is a maximum of 10 launches. FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk won the MAL Tournament by defeating Calvert 25-7, 25-14, then beat New Riegel 25-18, 25-16. For the Warriors, Addie Thiery had 18 kills and served three aces, Chelsey Trusty dished out 25 assists, five kills and two digs. Skyler Paradiso had eight digs and three aces, and Kennedy Jeffrey had five kills, three aces three digs.

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT SALE: Columbian will sell outdated athletic uniforms, practice gear, T-shirts and trophies not associated with NOL championships or OHSAA sponsored tournaments prior to Friday’s homecoming football game with Shelby. The sale runs 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
