GOLF: In the Old Fort Ex-Hi Baumann Golf League, Mark Miller and Adam Smith won the league by defeating Chad Dunlap and Will Rennels in the first round. In the championship round, Miller and Smith beat Jeff Miller and Jeff Huber. Matt Swecker and Andy Fox was the other team in the playoff.

CYO BASKETBALL: There will be a sign up in the St. Joseph Activity Center lobby for boys or girls in grades 4-12 from St. Mary or St. Joseph Parishes interested in participating in basketball. JV VOLLEYBALL: New Riegel defeated Riverdale 25-11, 25-12. Leah Bouillon had 13 assists and 6 digs for the Blue Jackets. Elizabeth Zoeller added five aces, three kills, and three digs.

n Old Fort traveled to Genoa and won, 25-19, 25-20. Caylie Menkhoff led the team with eight digs, Emily Manasian posted six kills, and Hannah Whitman turned in six digs, seven kills.

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: New Riegel hosted Sandusky St. Mary’s and took both sets, 25-20, 25-12. Elyssa Theis had three digs and four aces. Kylie Tiell contributed three digs and nine assists.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: The New Riegel’s seventh grade defeated St. Wendelin, 25-15, 25-9.

n New Riegel’s eighth grade won its match against St. Wendelin 25-12, 25-14.

n Old Fort’s seventh grade team beat Mohawk 25-12, 25-22. Amber Eubanks had five aces for the Stockaders.

n In eighth grade play, Old Fort defeated Mohawk, 25-6, 25-11. Old Fort’s efforts were led by Kiely Taylor with five aces and two assists.

JV FOOTBALL: Columbian beat Sandusky 34-0. Aaron Sostaric and Jake Adams each had rushing touchdowns. Matthew Zirger had a touchdown pass from Adams. Cole Pierce also had a receiving touchdown from Justin Jarrett. Defensively, Roman Williams returned a fumble for a touchdown. Justin Akers had a forced fumble with Sostaric on the recovery.
