Prep Golf Roundup: Seneca East scores win over Calvert

Johnny Diehm and Riley Kalb each shot a 39, while Jack Daniel posted a 41 as Seneca East posted a 163 in a forfeit win over Calvert at Clinton Heights.

The Senecas used three golfers. Bryan Kennedy shot a 37 for medalist honors, and Henry Burns shot a 39 for Calvert.

Seneca East improved to 7-4.

Rams dominate Falcons

UPPER SANDUSKY – Cody Clifford fired a 42, leading Upper Sandusky to a 176-206 victory over Riverdale at Lincoln Heights.

Shane Stansbery shot a 43 for the Rams (7-3), while Tommy Martin added a 45.

Riverdale (0-8) was led by Luke Bowman’s 48.

BC holds off Redmen

BUCYRUS – Tanner Zaebst, Matt Sheibley and Alex McGinnis all were separated by two strokes, and the Bucks held off Bucyrus 179-182.

Zaebst was the team’s best, shooting a 43. Sheibley had a 44 and McGinnis had a 45.

The Bucks improved to 11-2, 9-2 in the North Central Conference.

The Redmen (5-6, 5-4) had the medalist in Preston Ford, who shot a 41.

Bellevue remains unbeaten

CLYDE – Bellevue came into Tuesday’s match with Columbian undefeated, and left that way, topping the Tornadoes 152-182 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course.

The Redmen (8-0) had three players score in the 30s, with Isaac Hartley (36), Dylan Dewitt (37) and Ryan Wilburn (39) all putting up strong scores.

Columbian (3-6) was led by Jack Burkes, who shot a 39, and T.J. Wickham, who had a 45.

Kinley medals, Mohawk in the middle

NORTH BALTIMORE – Mohawk’s Katelynn Kinley had the low round of the day with a 36, but Elmwood beat out the Warriors in the team standings at a triangular Tuesday. Elmwood posted a 182 while Mohawk finished with a 195. Danbury shot a 224.

Elmwood’s four scorers fell right in line. Savannah Baker, who had a hole-in-one in her round, finished with a 44, Sierra Senko had a 45, Taylor Carr shot a 46 and Alexis Miller had a 47.

For Mohawk (7-2) Chelsea Clinger shot a 47, Michaela Cook posted a 49 and Heaven Immele carded a 63.

Danbury was led by Alexis Williams with a 50.

Monday, Mohawk beat Old Fort 205-232. Kinley led the Warriors with a 42. Also, Brooke Weininger shot a 50 Clinger a 56 and Cook a 57.

For Old Fort, Peyton Miller led with a 49, Jordan Magers carded a 50, Caylie Menkoff fired a 57 and Adrianna Stock shot a 76.
