YOUTH VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP: The Tiffin community YMCA is accepting registration for their youth volleyball skills camp. The camp will run every Monday from 6-7 p.m. starting Sept. 9 and running until Oct. 26. For any questions contact Eric at (419) 447-8711.

MEN’S SOFTBALL: There will be a World Bid tournament Saturday in Green Springs for Class E teams only. There will be a drawing at 5 p.m. Thursday. Call (419) 680-1464 for more information.

BASKETBALL CAMP: The Tiffin women’s basketball coaches and players will host a free clinic from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. The clinic is for kindergartners through sixth graders. Participants should wear tennis shoes. For more information, call Jess Harris at (419) 448-3503.

TU FOOTBALL: Tiffin University’s home and GLIAC opener against Michigan Tech Sept. 14 will be sponsored by Lane of Dreams, and will feature Seneca County High School Day, with free admittance to any high school student in Seneca County. Tickets will be delivered in advance to all area high schools.

RUNNING: The 22nd Annual Heritage Festival 5k and elementary youth races are Sept. 21 at Hedges- Boyer Park in Tiffin. The first of four youth races, for girls in grades K-3, will begin at 6 p.m., followed by K-3 boys, grades 4-6 girls and 4-6 boys. GOLF: Cary Herzog and Greg Tiell lead the second half of the K of C golf league. Prize winners included Tom Ritzler (closest to the pin on No.11), Matt Frank (long drive on No. 15), and Jeff Welty (closest in three on No.17)

RACING: Tim Shaffer edged out Dale Blarney with nine laps to go Saturday and went on to sweep the weekend at Attica Raceway Park.
