OLD FORT – Old Fort’s (5-6) took another step in the right direction with 25-8, 25-14, 25-9 win over Bettsville.

Allison Adelsperger led the Stockaders by racking up 25 assists. Adelsperger added the team high of nine aces. Jordan Magers contributed eight kills and eight digs. Shelby Bilger had four aces and registered eight digs against the Bobcats.

The win sits Old Fort at 2-2 in MAL play.

TU ties for ninth

ERIE, Pa – Tiffin University opened its women’s golf season at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic hosted by Gannon University, placing ninth out of 17 teams, shooting a 679 overall after a first day round of 338 and second day shooting 341. TU was four strokes behind Notre Dame. Gannon won took their own Classic with a 628.

Abby Martin led the Dragons with a 19th-place finish. Martin carded rounds of 83 and 82 for 165, Kamio Espindola shot an 83 and an 85. Carlin Kern finished 45th tallying scores of 87 and 85. Sophie Baun shot 174 and Lauren Harris took 63rd, finishing with 181.

‘Berg takes 7th at OWU Invite

POWELL- Heidelberg competed in the OWU Fall Invitational finishing seventh out of nine teams. The Student princes shot 736 after two rounds..

Lia Hodge shot the team-best 175. Kerianne Murphy carded scores of 89 and 88. Heidelberg’s Heather Lentz finished at 190. Rachel Huth stayed even shooting 97 in each round, and Natalie Durtschi carded a 199.
