NB’s Frost chills SW, Blue Devils

CAREY – North Baltimore’s’ Jacob frost stayed ahead of the pack shooting a 37 at Bob’s Countryside course in a tri-meet involving St.Wendelin, North Baltimore, and Carey.

North Baltimore edged out St.Wendelin 172-174. Carey shot a 185 with a standout birdie shot by Alex Kimmet on the ninth with a 3 on a par 4. Kimmet shot a 46, tying teammate Russell Phillips(46).Losing out by two strokes, the Mohawks posted some good individual scores by Gabe Walter’s (40), Dalton Murray (42), and Peter Campbell shooting a 43. Yet, Jacob Frost carried the load for the Tigers. Brock Boyer contributed adding a 42.

Port Clinton sweeps Redmen

In the opening singles match Port Clinton’s Kelsey Dietrich would go over Fostoria’s Erica Moore ,6-0,6-0, adding to a 5-0 sweep for the Redskins.

Port Clinton’s Morgan Mcglothin topped Fostoria’s Jessica Kauffman, 6-1,6-0. The third singles set would see Molly Haberman defeat Sabra Tate, 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles play opened with Port Clinton’s Tiffany Colsten and Alyssa Krupp besting the team of Autumn Affholder and Jillian Smith, 6-0,6-0.

The second set of doubles saw the pairing of Libby showalter and Taylor Steyer top the Redmen’s Destinie Farris and Ellen Guan, 6-0,6-0.
