Gorrell, Creeger star for Hopewell-Loudon

FOSTORIA – Two Hopewell-Loudon players broke 40, the Chieftains edged Arlington by two strokes, 167-169.

Bryce Gorrell tied for medalist, as he shot a 37, one stroke better than teammate Aric Creeger.

In addition to that, Chieftain Jarid Gelinas added a 43.

The Red Devils were led by Dexter Wilson (37), while Tyler Starr and Cody Rettig each added 42s.

Murray leads St. Wendelin

FOSTORIA – Dalton Murray fired a 43 at Loudon Meadows Monday, pushing St. Wendelin to a 191-204 victory over Old Fort.

Gabe Walters added a 47 for the Mohawks.

Buckeye Central solid all the way around vs Upper Sandusky

NEW WASHINGTON – Buckeye Central had three golfers shoot 41 or better, and every one of its players shot better than 50 as it cruised past Upper Sandusky, 163-180.

Adam McGinnis was the medalist for the event, shooting a 36. Teammate Zach Parker added a 40, while Tanner Zaebst had a 41.

Cody Clifford led Upper Sandusky with a 43.

Smith, Dryfuse pace New Riegel

BETTSVILLE – New Riegel’s Lance Smith and Jake Dryfuse shot twin 46s, and New Riegel took care of Bettsville at Nature Trails, 200-255.

The Bobcats were led by Ryan Hagar, who shot a 58.
