Bucks stay unbeaten

BUCYRUS – Buckeye Central remained unbeaten on the season with a victory over Wynford, and if Adam McGinnis keeps shooting the way he does, it will be tough for anyone to hand the Bucks a loss.

McGinnis fired a 38 to lead the Bucks to a 175-185 victory over Wynford.

Tanner Zaebst backed him up with a 44, Derek Shell fired a 46 and Zach Parker and Matt Sheibley each shot 48.

Buckeye Central is now 6-0, 4-0 North Central Conference.

Blue Jackets out-pace Calvert at Seneca Hills

The teams shared the medalist honors, but New Riegel took the win Tuesday, beating Calvert 192-211 at Seneca Hills.

New Riegel’s Lance Smith and Calvert’s Matt Huffmon each carded a 45.

Aaron Reinhart and Travis Williams backed Smith with twin 47s for the Blue Jackets (2-2).

Bryan Kennedy added a 46 for the Senecas (0-1).

Shelby beats out Columbian

SHELBY – Jack Burkes fired a 42 for Columbian, but it wasn’t enough as Shelby dropped Columbian in Northern Ohio League play, 179-189. Sam Boyce posted a 39 for the host Whippets and Joey Rittenhouse added a 43.

For Columbian, T.J Wickham added a 47, Wesley Henkel shot a 48 and Eline Widman carded a 52.

Pair of Buckettes lead way

UPPER SANDUSKY – Two Buckeye Central players broke 50 Tuesday as the Buckettes defeated Clear Fork 216-224 at Cranberry Hills.

Lydia Shealy’s 47 and Maddie Fagan’s 49 sparked the Buckettes (4-4).

Clear Fork got a 51 from Maria Zeller and a 56 from Caitlyn McCartney.

Pair leads the way for Tigers

Johnny Diehm and Riley Kalb fired 39s Tuesday to fuel Seneca East’s win in a quadrangular at Clinton Heights.

The Tigers overpowered Mohawk 168-182, with Old Fort taking third (184) and Bettsville finished fourth (250).

Austin Holmer backed up Diehm and Kalb with a 44 and Braden Nagel shot a 46 for Seneca East.

Brayden Dunlap’s 42 keyed the runner-up Warriors, and Billy Dunlap added a 44.

Old Fort got 43s from Adam Alexander and Maison Steyer.

Ryan Hager’s 52 and Kyle Hager’s 60 led Bettsville.
