TIFFIN LITTLE LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Tiffin Little League Football will hold a draft at 10 a.m. July 13 at the shelter across from the YMCA, open to any boy or girl in fourth through seventh grade. There will be cheerleading tryouts at the same time open to any girl first grade and up.
YOUTH?FOOTBALL: The Heidelberg Youth Football Camp runs 9 a.m.-noon July 8-11 at Mayer Field. The camp is designed to serve campers ages 6-13 in all areas of football development, and will be run by the Heidelberg staff and players. Each camper will receive a detailed evaluation, a camp T-shirt, and a certificate of completion. Cost is $75 at the door. For more information, contact Corey Fillipovich at (419) 448-2142.
GOLF: This morning’s Retiree League at Clinton Heights was won by the team of Don Kin, Jim Radcliff, Skip Halcomb and Ray Nutter with a score of seven under par. Prizes went to Halcomb (closest in one on No. 5) Radcliff (closest in two on No. 4 and closest in three on No. 9) and Wade Burger (long putt on No. 1).

n In the Reineke Early Flight Wednesday night at Clinton Heights, Ron Kern and Carl Rainey lead with 25 points. Greg Kiser was closest to the pin on No. 11, while Kyle Illig was closest in two on No. 13, Mike Collene had the long drive on No. 15, Derek Williams was closest in three on No. 16 and Gene Sarkin had the long putt on No. 18.

In the 11-year-old All-Star Game, the Gray Division Little Stallions beat the Blue Division Freedom Fighters, 13-2. The Gray Division got two doubles and a single by Cole Zimmerman, two doubles from Rickie Lacy, and a double from Anthony Thallman. Reece Moore, David McCray, and Chase Frankhauser had singles.The Freedom Fighters got two singles from Donnell Brockington.
n In the 12-Year Old All-Star Game, the Blue Division Misfits defeated the Gray Division Dream ’14, 7-4. For the Blue Division, Brandon Brown and Matt Boes doubled, while Tyler Turek, Jayce Kidwell and Colin Burkett singled. Rico Lopez (double), Blake Steinmetz and Greg Gase (singles) had hits for the Gray Division.
