Boys Basketball Roundup: Davidson’s record fuels OF
OLD FORT – Cole Davidson bettered the career 3-point mark held by his coach Tuesday as Old Fort hammered Northwood 84-46.
Davidson drained 5 3-pointers, en route to 19 points, to give him 132 treys in his career, pushing him past coach Eric Hoover.
Hunter Perry added 22 points and seven steals for the Stockaders (13-1), Dalton Perry netted 19 points, and Matt Hill had 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.
Mohawk lets Loose
SYCAMORE – Drew Loose entered Tuesday’s game ranked third in the Midland Athletic League in scoring. His performance against Arcadia will only help him climb higher. Loose poured in 27 points as the Warriors downed the Redskins 77-55.
Three other Warriors joined him scoring in double figures. Mitch Parker tossed in 15, Darby Walton had 13 and Grant Ekleberry added 12.
Mohawk (5-5) opened the game with a 24-15 first quarter, increased their lead by one heading into halftime and then put the game away with a 22-14 third quarter.
