GOLF: Seneca East’s girls basketball team will host its inaugural golf outing July 22 at Clinton Heights Golf Course. The event tees off with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Four-person teams can sign up by emailing Jarron Reesman at reesmanjj@gmail.com or Don Vogt at dvogt@se-tigers.com. Cost is a $200 for each team ($50 per person), and there will be hole prizes and a long putt contest. All proceeds go to helping buy new home uniforms for next season.

n The Friday Senior League at Clinton Heights ended in a tie. The team of Don Kin, Dave Seislove, Dick Hall and Scott Swartz tied at seven under with Jim Ruess, Jim Kimmel, Jon Eakin and Tom Miller. Prizes were awarded to Hall (closest in one on No. 11), Jim Sherwood (closest in two on No. 13) and Ruess (closest in three on No. 17).

n The duo of Don Hoepf and Terry Nusbaum lead the Thursday night K of C League at Clinton Heights with 20 1/2 points. Bob Gooding and Wayne Traxler follow with 19. Prizes went to Rob Ritzler (closest to pin on No. 2), Tim Ritzler (long drive on No. 4), Jeff Welty (long putt on No. 6) and Josh Predieri (closest to pin on No. 8). Rusty Latona and Tony Latona won a skin.

n With one week remaining in the first half of the Amvets League, Tim Mannas and Dale Wisebaker lead with 71 1/2 points. Tom Miller and Bob Grothaus are in second with 67 1/2. Prize holes were won by Brian Miccichi (long drive on No. 14) and Mannas (closest to pin on No. 13).
