CORRECTION: Hopewell-Loudon’s Chelsey Depinet was omitted from the all-BVC story in Wednesday’s edition. She was named to the first team in softball.

BASEBALL: The Northwest Ohio District 9 Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game is June 20 at Sports Force Park in Sandusky. Three games will be played simultaneously, beginning at 7 p.m. Teams have been divided by county. Game 1 will pit Crawford and Wyandot against Richland. Game 2 has Erie and Ottawa taking on Huron and Ashland. Game 3 has Seneca and Hancock facing Sandusky, Wood and Lucas.

BASKETBALL: Columbian basketball will host an overnight youth camp for boys currently in grades 2-6. Registration forms can be picked up at Tiffin Middle School or sent via email by contacting Travis Kinn at travis_kinn@tiffincityschools.org.

GOLF: After three weeks Jim and Brian Miccichi lead the Amvets League with 41 points, while Howard Elchert and Jim Banks are second (37). Prize winners were Terry Shuff (long putt No. 3) and Rufus Tyree (closest to pin No. 2).

n The team of Ted Rombach, Fred Smith, Craig Neither and Dave Welly won the Wednesday Senior League at Clinton Heights at 6 under. Jim Russ, Jim Radcliff, Loud Stroub and Greg Closure were second at 4 under. Prize holes went to Don Kin (closest to pin in one), Russ (closest in two), Closure (closest in three) and Denny Harper (long putt).

n Dave Zigler and Bo Yani lead after two weeks o the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League with 25 points. Three teams are at 24 points/ Prize holes went to Zigler (closest second shot No. 13) and Scott Reineck (longest putt No 15).
