BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Seneca East topped North Baltimore 55-22 as Pieter Wise and Brock Ferres each scored 11 points and Elijah Riggs added 10 for SE.

n Carey edged Colonel Crawford 41-39 as Hayden Hash and Ian Yeater both put in nine points for Carey.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Mohawk took down Upper Sandusky 59-32 in the N10 Tournament. With the win, the Warriors advance to the title game against Carey. Nathan Geary led the Warriors with 19 points, while Collin Barth chipped in 12 points, Reese Hannam had 11 points and Jacob Coldiron finished with eight points.

n Hopewell-Loudon beat Van Buren 56-18. H-L got 14 points from Tyler Fedele and 11 each by Ryan Cook and Ashton Bour.

BASEBALL: Tiffin Area Babe Ruth will hold a summer registration 10 a.m.-1 p.m. March 9 in the Frost Kalnow Room at Tiffin Public Library. The Rookie Division is for boys and girls age 5-7 and the E League is for boys age 8-10. For more information, send an email to jrhode1973@yahoo.com.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Colonel Crawford handled Carey 56-45 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference action. Carey led 19-10 after the opening quarter, but then was outscored 46-26 the rest of the way, including a 32-16 second half. Gavin Feichtner led the Eagles (17-4, 12-3) with 23 points, while Jordan Fenner tallied 19. Hayden Stone posted a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils (12-8, 9-6 N10). Griffin Summit added nine points.
