BOWLING: Jim Ruess rolled a 565 series to lead the 55 Plus League at K of C Lanes. Jim Ferstler had a 521, followed by Greg Elchert (505), Bill Mizen (502) and Paul Gosche (494).

GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Carey beat Upper Sandusky 48-16.

n Columbian dominated New Riegel 48-16 as Mia Ingalls led TC with 12 points and Tatiana Dines added 10. Olivia Shaferly led New Riegel with six points.

n Seneca East topped Buckeye Central 45-33.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Bryce Lange led a trio of double-digit scoring Mohawk players in a 56-47 win against Upper Sandusky. Lange scored 16 points, Collin Barth netted 11 and Reese Hannam had 10. Jacob Coldiron chipped in eight points for the Warriors, Nathan Geary scored seven and Ryan Dietrich tallied four.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Mohawk’s eighth grade edged Colonel Crawford 37-36 in the Northern 10 Athletic Tournament semifinals. Zaiden Fry led the Warriors with 14 points, A.J. Hess scored 11, Bryce Hannam had five, Kyle Stillberger tossed in four and Owen Chevalier added three.

GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Wynford’s eighth grade beat Mohawk 37-22 in the second round of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference Tournament. Katelyn Siesel scored nine points for Mohawk and Kaitlyn Best had seven.

n Morgan Cornwell had the team’s lone overtime basket and Caroline Kagy added a foul shot in the extra period to help Seneca East’s seventh grade slip past Colonel Crawford 17-16 in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. Olivia Stockmaster led the Tigers with eight points.
