BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Zack Arend scored 15 points to lead a balanced Columbian attack in a 68-49 win over Kenton. Caden Groves added 12 points, Luke Snyder had 11 while Jaden Myers and Seth Bellville each contributed eight. Caden Bolling had 13 and Cameron Pulfer 12 for Kenton.

GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Calvert edged Buckeye Central 30-26 in overtime as Kate Rombach and Kelsey Shiley both had seven points for the Senecas.

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL: North Baltimore whipped Carey 60-43. Jordan Baker led the Tigers with 20 points, while Alivia Light chipped in 16 points and Grace Hagemeyer ended with 10. Alaina Tiell had 13 points and three assists for the Blue Devils. Sadie Arend scored nine points and Bailey Tanner had three steals. Avarie Stewart pulled down nine rebounds.

SUMMER SOFTBALL: The Seneca East softball program is currently accepting registration for the summer season. Girls in grades K-8 are eligible. Registration forms are currently available at Seneca East Local Schools. Forms and payment must be turned in to the elementary or high school offices by Feb. 15.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Mohawk took down Colonel Crawford 38-30. Nathan Geary and Reese Hannam both scored 13 points for the Warriors, while Collin Barth added six.

n Calvert got by New Riegel 37-33 as Jackson Seislove had nine points for the Senecas. Keegan Meyer added eight, Bob Price had six and Braeden Elchert and Ethan Sauber each added five. Joe Tiell led New Riegel with 10 points.

n Pandora-Gilboa topped Hopewell-Loudon 38-30. Ryan Cook dropped in 10 points and Devin Falter added eight for H-L.
