TU BALL KIDS: The Tiffin University women’s team is looking for kids to help out during the home games this season as an honorary ball kid. The ball kid will be given inside access to the team’s pregame talk in the locker room, be awarded a free t-shirt and will get the chance to walk the ball out to the officials before the game. The team has 12 home games and spots will be given to on a first come, first serve basis. GOLF: Dave Combs, Ray Krupp, Jim Heyman and Monti Scott shot 1 under to win Monday’s Retirees League at Seneca Hills. Prize winners were Frank Michniak (long putt No. 1), Dick Best (closest to pin No. 6) and Combs (closest to pin in two No. 5). Combs also had the low gross with a 34.

n In the Monday Shamble League at Clinton Heights, Don Kin, Jim Kimmell, Craig Neifer and Dave Seislove won at 3 under. At 2 under was Tom Ardner, Jon Eakin, Gary Espejo and Skip Halcomb. Prize holes went to Ardner (closest in one No. 5), Seislove (closest in two No. 2 and closest in three No. 9) and Kin had the low gross with a 34.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Buckeye Central’s eighth grade beat Mohawk 25-15, 25-17. Olivia Wise had five serves for the Warriors.

n Buckeye Central’s seventh grade topped Mohawk 17-25, 25-22, 25-23. Allie Tusing had 17 serves for the Warriors.

n Seneca East’s eighth grade beat Ridgedale 25-15, 25-18 as Kaitlyn Best had three aces and four assists for the Tigers. They also got three aces, two kills and a block from Abby Sturgill and two aces and eight kills from Hillary Bogner.

n Seneca East’s seventh grade dropped Ridgedale 25-19, 25-16. For SE, Myah Geary tallied six aces and four assists, while Hannah Chaffee added three aces, two kills and four digs, Caroline Kagy had six kills and Abbi Drosky ended with four aces and five kills.

n Gibsonburg’s seventh grade dropped Old Fort in three. Gillian Eakin had eight aces for OF, while Audra Miller had seven.

n Calvert’s eighth grade beat Fremont St. Joe 21-25, 25-17, 25-8. Ashlynn Deats had seven aces for the Senecas, while Bradleigh Meier added three aces, two kills and three blocks and Hannah Miller tacked on two aces, four assists, five kills and a pair of blocks.

n Calvert’s seventh grade topped Fremont St. Joe 25-16, 25-27, 25-13. Morgan Elchert served seven aces for Calvert, while Olivia Miller added four aces and five assists, Jenna Vera had three aces an five kills, Cecilia Brown dished nine assists and Brooklyn Brown collected two aces, two kills and two blocks.

n Hopewell-Loudon’s eighth grade took down Van Buren 25-18, 16-25, 26-24. For H-L, Grace Hoover recorded seven aces, three kills and five assists, while Alex Jackson added five aces and eight kills, Taryn Thompson had five aces and Jada Breidenbach dished six assists.

n Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade topped Van Buren 25-18, 25-20 as Kylee Malagon had six aces and four kills for the Chieftains, while Lydia Walters tacked on four aces, nine assists and a kill, Isabelle Beidelschies had three aces and five kills, Anna Daniel collected three aces and a pair of kills and Kendall Eilrich finished with two aces and six kills.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Galion topped Upper Sandusky 25-14, 25-12.

n Seneca East beat Ridgedale 25-19, 18-25, 25-21. Brooke Bordner had four kills and three blocks for SE, while Lexi Cheek tacked on three kills and eight digs.

n Buckeye Central topped Mohawk 25-21, 25-14. Marah Gillig led the Warriors with eight assists and nine digs, while Catherine Klopp had five kills and Emma Thiery ended with six digs and three kills.

n Hopewell-Loudon defeated Van Buren 25-7, 25-16. Brynn Carrel dished 18 assists for H-L, while Elizabeth Wells had five kills, Bri Landers added eight digs and two aces and Hope Kreais ended with five kills.

n Carey topped Colonel Crawford 22-25, 25-14, 25-23.

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Hopewell-Loudon beat Van Buren25-10, 25-19. Bri Landers registered six aces and six digs for H-L, while Hope Kreais added six kills and four blocks, Chloe Malagon tacked on five digs and Abby Daniel slammed three kills.

GIRLS SOCCER: Riverdale took down Upper Sandusky 5-0.
