GOLF: The 10th annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Outing/Fundraiser has been postponed until Sept. 16 at 8 a.m.

n Kevin Guth and Scott Reineck won the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League title by defeating Dog Chaviler and Marty Ward 21-19. Guth and Reineck beat Larry Miller and Larry Elchert in the first round. Chaviler and Ward topped Dave Zigler and Bo Yani in their first round match.

n Kirk Steffani and Keith Brighner made a birdie on No. 13 to clinch the Reineke Two-Man Scramble League title at Clinton Heights over Mike Hampp and Ted Rombach.

n Bump’s Traveling Retiree group held its flight championship scramble Tuesday at Seneca Hills. Winners were Flight A — Tom Company, Steve Lauer, Bill Stallsworth and Bob Tiell (10 under). Flight B — PJ Hufford, Karl Orians, Dave Clouse and Tim Bradford (5 under). Flight C — first place: Paul Donaldson, Tom Puffenberger, Paul Porter and Richard Perkins (6 under); second place: Carl Feasel, Dick Hull, Mike Dillard and Randy Company (5 under). Next week’s outing will be at Valley View, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

HOPEWELL-LOUDON: Hopewell-Loudon appreciates the effort and sacrifices the local First Responders, EMS, Veterans and those currently serving in the military make each day. In an effort to show appreciation to these men and women, along with their families, will be given free entry to the football game Friday. H-L also encourages those in attendance to show their appreciation as they are recognized in the stands after the first quarter.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk beat Seneca East 25-9, 25-10, getting nine digs, five assists and four aces from Marah Gillig. Kennedy Cleveland added five assists and four digs for the Warriors, Emma Thiery had five digs and four kills and Tori Phillips lined three aces.

n Buckeye Central beat Carey 25-16, 25-15.

n Calvert beat Sandusky St. Mary 25-16, 25-15. Maddie Schumacher led the winners with 11 kills and seven digs, Erin Wagner handed out 18 assists, A.J. Hemminger had nine digs and Leah Renninger (2 solo blocks) belted five kills and three aces.

n Fremont St. Joe beat Lakota 25-11, 25-14.

n Rossford beat Fostoria 25-19, 20-25, 25-9.

n Bellevue topped Columbian 25-19, 21-25, 25-23. For TC, Lizzie Newland had five kills and 13 assists, while Kennedy Sherman tacked on six kills and seven assists.

n Riley Lerhner served six aces and Emily Blankenship belted five to fuel Old Fort’s 25-6, 25-14 thumping of Danbury. Emily Hull (2 kills) added 12 assists and three aces, Jordan Reineck had five digs, Kara Davidson slammed five kills, Faith Miller lined three kills and Christa Kuhn (2 kills) served three aces.

JV BOYS GOLF: Perkins handled Columbian 199-219 at Wousickett. Dyson Leffler, Josh Johnson and Braeden George all shot a 48 for Perkins. It also gto a 55 from Cole Hupp. Collin Anway led TC with a 45, while Bryan Edler had a 58, Zavier Sherman carded a 56 and Hayden Carter ended with a 60.

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Bellevue downed Columbian 26-24, 25-13. Cadence Siesel made 15 digs for TC, while Katie Hardina added 10 more.

BOYS GOLF: Upper Sandusky beat Colonel Crawford 171-222 at Valley View. Brett Montgomery led the way with a 32 for the Rams (10-0, 7-0 N10), while Trevor Clifford had a 42, Evan Young added a 44 and Owen Knapp ended with a 53.

ELEMENTARY CROSS COUNTRY: Hopewell-Loudon held its annual Chieftain Elementary Cross Country race Tuesday. Medalists in the girls division were: First grade — Laila Nally, Mohawk; Avery Sautter, Lakota; Elyse Boes, Seneca. Second grade — Julia Norris, Fremont Force; Kinsey Cook, Seneca East; Ali Schalk, New Riegel. Third grade — Natalie Smith, Fremont YMCA; Savanna Cook, Hopewell-Loudon; Gabby Hohman, Tiffin YMCA. Fourth grade — Leah Weingart, Tiffin YMCA; Jordyn Enders, Seneca East; Julia Enders, Seneca East. Fifth grade — Rylee Robinson, Wynford; Carmen Lewis, Tiffin YMCA; Isabel Stockmaster, Seneca East.
