RESULTS POLICY: Coaches turning in results for any sport are reminded to use full names for all athletes. Handwriting must be legible. Photos of scorebooks must be in focus and well lit. Records should be included. Results for high school and college events must be turned in that day by 9:30 p.m., barring extenuating circumstances (overtime, late start, etc.). All other events must be turned in by 8 p.m. Results can be turned in via E-mail at sports@advertiser-tribune.com, fax at (419) 447-3274, telephone at (419) 448-3250 or in the drop box by the paper’s front door at 320 Nelson St. Results must be turned in the day of the event. Depending on time constraints, games and events turned in which do not include full names or are turned in late may not have recaps written about them. Results which are unreadable will not be included in the paper.

GOLF: The Senior League at Clinton Heights was won by Carl Rainey, Dave Seislove, Tom Puffenberg and Gary Kroeger at 8 under. Second place was a tie at 7 under between Steve Hepp, Ed Lutz, Dave Welly and Mike Windau and Ted Rombach, Fred Smith, Jack Snay, Rex Mellott and Doc Garza. Prize holes went to Mike Hampp (closest in one No. 8), Lutz (closest in two No. 3), Snay (closest in three No. 9) and Mellott (long putt No. 4).

n After four weeks in the second half of the Amvets League at Seneca Hills, Brian Krauss and Herb Love lead with 49 points. Second place is Dan Coppes and Bob Reinhart with 44 ½ points. Prize winners were Coppes (long putt No. 10), Bob Haefling (closest in one No. 13) and Love (closest in three No. 17 with an eagle).

n Tim Cessna and Ryan Hulse are tied with Dave Zigler and Bo Yani of the third session with 26 points each in the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League. Prize holes went to Yani (closest third shot No. 10), Todd Tiell (closest second shot No. 13) and Terry Fowler (longest putt No. 14).

VARSITY GIRLS GOLF: Bellevue topped Clyde 194-237 Tuesday at Sleepy Hollow in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division action. Brooke Newsome led Clyde with a 51, while Margaret Hiliker chipped in a 59, Hunter Schwochow had a 61, Grace Pocock shot a 66, Clori Hackenburg fired a 69 and Zoey Fairbanks finished with a 94.
