PARENT MEETING: Upper Sandusky High School will host a fall sports meeting July 23 in the gym. Parents of all sports (excluding golf and cheerleading) are expected to attend. The general meeting begins at 7 p.m. followed by individual sport meetings. The golf and cheerleading meetings occur July 31 at 7 p.m. Golf will meet in Room 502 and cheerleading will meet in Room 305. For more information, call the high school office at (419) 294-2308.

GOLF: Dick Best, Gene Sherer, Tom Williams and Dutch Edeburn shot even par to win Monday’s Retiree League at Seneca Hills. Prizes went to Dave Combs (long putt on No. 9) Jim Heyman (closest to pin on No. 16), Best (closest in two on No. 5) and Larry Wilson (low gross of 34.)

n The Baumann Women’s League at Clinton Heights is led by the team of Pam Moyer and Erica Gordon. Moyer and Gordon also won a skin on No. 3. Prizes were awarded to Tori Lee and Bria Gibson (No. 1), Amy Mattson and Marie Shuey (No. 4) and Sharon Smith and Beck Mouradian (surprise hole).

n Ray Nutter leads the second session of the Phat Cakes Par Tee League with 47 points. Ron Schramm is in second with 40. Nutter posted the low round with a 39. Mike Gibson, Len Gosche, Ken Ziebold and Nutter each won skins. Prizes were won by Nutter (pin shot on No. 8), Gosche (proximity shot on No. 4), Tim Cessna (pin shot on No. 5; long drive on No. 2), Jason Galitza (long putt on No. 7 and Ziebold (long putt on No. 3).

n The New Riegel 4-man Team Scramble is July 14 sponsored by the New Riegel Athletic Boosters. The event will be played at Loudon Meadows with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
