RUNNING: The Columbian High cross country team’s Run For Your Stripes 5K is July 4 at 9 a.m. Registration runs that day at 7:30-8:45 a.m. Runners can register in front of the school at 300 S. Monroe St., where the race begins.

GOLF: Seneca East’s girls basketball team will host its inaugural golf outing July 22 at Clinton Heights Golf Course. The event tees off with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Four-person teams can sign up by emailing Jarron Reesman at reesmanjj@gmail.com or Don Vogt at dvogt@se-tigers.com. Cost is a $200 for each team ($50 per person), and there will be hole prizes and a long putt contest. All proceeds go to helping buy new home uniforms for next season.

n The annual FACT (Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment) outing, sponsored by the Armes Family Cancer Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital, is July 29 at Loudon Meadows Golf Club in Fostoria at 9:15 a.m. Cost is $50 per person or $200 per four-person team and includes 18 holes, cart and lunch. n Prize winners for the Seneca Hills Tuesday Morning Ladies league went to Paula Wise (closest to pin in one No. 13), Deb Welter (longest putt No. 16) and Lou Ann Newlove (Best poker hand Nos. 10-14).

n Prize winners for the Baumann Women’s Monday Night Scramble league at Clinton Heights went to Donna Thacker and Stephanie Miller (No. 13), Barb Kuhn and Carla Siebenaller (No. 17) and Kerry Jones and Linda Phares (long putt No. 18). Pam Moyer and Erica Gordon lead the league.

n Mike Carroll and John Carroll lead the North Division of the Clinton Heights Baumann Two-Man Scramble Late league with 21 1/2 points. Mark Smith and Paul Van Horn have 21 points. Nub Scherger and Doug Strausser lead the South Division with 18 1/2 points, while Denny and Nate Lofay are in second with 17 1/2 points. Prize winners were Mark Griffin (long putt No. 12), Joel Ardner (closest in two No. 15), Tony Scherer (closest in three No. 17) and Mike Lee (long putt No. 18).

n Andrew Combs won the Open Gym at Seneca Hills, shooting a 34. The long drive went to Griffin Bunting on No. 8.

n Leaders of the second third of the Monday Morning Reineke Two-Man Scramble league at Clinton Heights is Steve Hepp and Lou Grisellding with 18 1/2 points. Prize winners were Kirk Steffani and Russ Eborg with two holes each and Jon Eakin with one hole.
