FUNDRAISER: You can support the Hopewell-Loudon girl’s basketball program by taking a free test drive at Reineke’s Tiffin Ford Lincoln on May 12 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Ford Motor Co. will donate $20 per test drive to the H-L girl’s basketball program (up to $6,000). There is to be free hot dogs and refreshments. The event is to happen rain or shine. No sales obligation.

COACH OPENING: Seneca East is seeking a varsity boys basketball coach.Teaching position may be available but that is unknown at this time. * Nate Hartman and Mike Porter lead the first-third of the Wednesday Night Men’s Catholic League at Seneca Hills with 57 points. Marc Lee and Denny Krupp each shot 35s to tie for low gross and Lee shot 31 for low net.

* Steve Lauer, Andy Bess, Scott Swartz, and Carl Feasel beat the team of Whitey Florence, Tom Puffenberger, George Wolph, Paul Porter, and Bum Farr on the third handicap hole with a 10-under par in the Bump’s Tuesday traveling outing at Green Hills. BASKETBALL CAMP: The Upper Sandusky Lady Rams Youth Basketball Camp is set for June 25-28 at the high school gym. The time for grades 4-6 is 9-10:30 a.m. and grades 7-8 is 10:30 a.m. to noon. Registration deadline to guarantee a T-shirt and basketball is June 1, but campers may register up to the day of camp. MUD RUN: P.M. Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host the fifth annual Mud Run on June 9. There will be a half mile fun mud run at 9 a.m. and a 5K mud run at 10 a.m. Ages 18 and under is $20.
