BASKETBALL: The Buckeye Elite travel basketball club will host tryouts at Calvert High for seventh grade boys as well as eighth and ninth grade girls. The boys tryouts run 3-4:15 p.m. today followed by the eighth grade girls from 4:30-5:45 p.m. The ninth grade girls will have tryouts 1:15-2:45 p.m. March 4. GIRLS BASKETBALL PRESALE TICKETS: Tickets for Old Fort’s district semifinal Thursday at 6:15 p.m. vs. St. Joe at Fostoria can be purchased at the high school office beginning today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Old Fort will receive a portion of the ticket sales.
n Tickets for Bellevue’s district semifinal vs. Ontario Thursday at 8 p.m. at Galion will be available Tuesday-Thursday at Bellevue High School from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. They are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the game are $6.
n Tickets for Upper Sandusky’s district semifinal vs. Norwalk at 6:15 p.m. at Galion will be sold Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the athletic office. No presale tickets will be sold the day of the game. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
YOUTH BASKETBALL: In the fifth grade girls championship game, St. Joe topped Lakota 27-19. Emma Kelbley had 10 points, while Ryen Smith added nine and Brynn Reider had six for St. Joe. For Lakota, Addison Endicott scored nine points.
