GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Bridget Mullholand scored eight points to fuel Carey in a 32-8 win against New Riegel. Marianna Tiell scored four points for New Riegel.

n Columbian topped Perkins 45-41 as Abby Haner had seven points and both Tatyana Dines and Toria Ingalls had six.

BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Jake Siesel scored 12 points and Andy Bauman had nine to lead Seneca East past Bucyrus 43-38.

n Fostoria topped Hopewell-Loudon 38-36. Nathan Cook led the Chieftains with 12 points, while Marshall Reinhard ended with eight. The Chieftains are 11-4.

n Clyde dominated Fremont St. Joe 62-28.

n James Weaver tossed in 14 points, Daltyn Wiedbrauk added 10 and Brevan Moore nine for Margaretta in a 38-36 win over Columbian. Reece Moore scored 16 and Ryan Sharpe added seven for the Tornadoes.

n New Riegel downed Arcadia 39-26 as Chris Acree tallied 19 points and Darek Feindel added 11 for New Riegel.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Clyde beat Put-In-Bay 56-49.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Old Fort’s eighth grade beat Margaretta 47-34. Colin Nutter netted 14 points for the Stockaders, Casey Clouse scored 12, Garrett Havens had 11 and Miles Miller added 10.

n Hayden Welly scored 17 points and George Beucler added 10 to lead Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade past Calvert 33-30. Nick Palm had 13 points for Calvert.

n Hopewell-Loudon edged Calvert 42-41 in eighth grade play. Ried Jury and Ryan Cook each scored 11 points for H-L and Ashton Bour tossed in seven.

n Alex King scored 16 points to lead Seneca East’s eighth grade, but Ridgedale won 38-35.

n Seneca East’s seventh grade beat Ridgedale 37-24, getting 13 points from Graham Gibbs and nine from Isaac Mason.

GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Seneca East beat Ridgedale’s seventh grade 41-10. Hillary Bogner scored 21 points for the Tigers and Kate Siesel had eight.

n Seneca East’s eighth grade beat Ridgedale 49-16, getting 14 points from Emily Siesel, 10 from Amelia Boes, nine from Kiersten Cook and eight from Makenna Depinet.
