BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon beat Willard 51-18.

* Gibsonburg topped Calvert 40-35.

* Carey beat Wynford 50-22.

* Maalik Tucker scored 15 points and Karsen Bemis had 13 as Fostoria beat Genoa 48-42.

JV SWIMMING: Jacob Anderson won the 50 free (28.15) and Corbin Hite won the 100 free (1:17.71) to lead Columbian to a 16-11 win over Ontario in a triangular. Mansfield St. Peter’s took third (1). Sydney Fortney won the 50 free (30.26) and 100 free (1:09.6) to help Columbian finish second in a triangular. Ontario won with 45 points, followed by TC (36) and Mansfield St. Peter’s (5). Beca Kimmet added a win in the 200 free (2:42.61) for TC, with Hailey Baker, Sammy Kimmett, Abby Bickford and Jocelyn Hardina winning the 200 free relay (2:01.56).

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Genoa beat Fostoria 54-46. Avondre Reed scored 28 points for Fostoria.

BASKETBALL: The Carey Teen Leadership Corps (TLC) will hold the second annual Coaches vs. Cancer game Jan. 21 when Carey hosts Mohawk’s girls at 1 p.m. and Upper Sandusky’s boys at 6 p.m. TLC will sell baked goods and other items, with all proceeds benefiting the Wyandot County Relay for Life.
