GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Sandusky St. Mary beat New Riegel 28-15.n Colonel Crawford beat Seneca East 48-18.

n Carey beat Wynford 45-23.

n Buckeye Central beat Upper Sandusky 34-33. Hailey Niederkohr led Upper Sandusky with 11 points and Tori Damron had eight.

n Mohawk beat Bucyrus 42-16.

BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Oak Harbor beat Old Fort 54-34. Cole Bigelow led Old Fort with eight points and Carson Steyer and Harmon Channels both scored seven.

n Cole Noftz scored 11 points and Bryce Hohman added 10 to lead New Riegel past Buckeye Central 51-31.

BOYS RESERVE BASKETBALL: Old Fort beat Oak Harbor 55-44 behind 22 points from Tyler Drown and 11 from Ryan Miller.

BASKETBALL: The Carey Teen Leadership Corps (TLC) will hold the second annual Coaches vs. Cancer game Jan. 21 when Carey hosts Mohawk’s girls at 1 p.m. and Upper Sandusky’s boys at 6 p.m. TLC will sell baked goods and other items, with all proceeds benefiting the Wyandot County Relay for Life.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Calvert’s seventh grade topped Arcadia 46-11. Blake Ronski led all scorers with 10 points for the Senecas. Garrett Spaun and Nolan Beeker each had six, while Braeden Elchert added five, Luke Snyder, Max Paul and Jackson Seislove all had four.
