Gorrell's 37 at Seneca Hills won medalist, but the Senecas, behind a 38 from Bryan Kennedy, won a remarkably tight match, carding a 170 and topping St. Wendelin by two strokes and Hopewell-Loudon by three.
Peter Campbell fired a 38 to lead the Mohawks (172).
Calvert's Henry Burns shot a 42, while teammate Matt Huffmon added a 44.
The Mohawks (8-3) got a 44 from Joey DeHaven, while the Chieftains got a 45 from Garret Sendelbach.

HARPSTER - Tanner Zaebst's 40 led the way Thursday as Buckeye Central held off Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Ridgedale 178-182 at Hickory Grove.
Dalton Sheaffer followed Zaebst with a 43 for the Bucks (5-0, 4-0 N10).

BUCYRUS - Brayden Dunlap broke 40 Thursday to key Mohawk's 174-221 rout of Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Wynford.
Dunlap fired a 39 for the Warriors (4-0, 4-0 N10) and Chet Margraf carded a 41.
Brenen McGuire shot a 46 for the Royals and Quenten Stuckey had a 51.
Devils bunch it up
CAREY - Carey's top three scorers shot better than Crestview's No. 2 player in Thursday's 176-202 win at Bob's Countryside.
Alex Kimmet's 42 topped the Blue Devils, with Grant Wentling and Trey Bame both carding a 44.
Crestview got a 43 from Andy Lutz and a 45 from Tyler Albright.
