Fostoria hospital to host book fair

FOSTORIA - ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital auxiliary is to host a book fair fundraiser 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 3 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 4 in the hospital's gift shop area, entrance 2 or 3.

Books for adults and children are to be on sale during the auxiliary's bi-annual book fair fundraising event. In addition, other items are to be available for purchase.

The ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital auxiliary is operated by volunteers and helps support the hospital's mission - to improve the health and well-being of the community.

Homan named newest auctioneer

After more than a year of study and apprenticeship, Mike Homan is the area's newest auctioneer.

Homan spent the past year and a half completing his auction apprenticeship.

"Working with my sponsor Mike Watson and great auctioneers like Greg Martin has allowed me to progress farther than I ever thought at this point in my career."

Homan spent hundreds of hours learning the trade, and now is ready to provide the service to Seneca and the surrounding counties.

Feasel receives automotive manager degree

Jeffrey Feasel, general manager at Feasel's Frame & Collision Inc., graduated Aug. 1 from the Automotive Management Institute with an accredited automotive manager degree. The degree recognizes industry professionals who have completed course work and earned a minimum of 120 credits.

According to a release, the designation has become a cornerstone in professionalizing automotive service management and is a symbol of professional achievement that will shape the future of the automotive service industry. Feasel attended the graduation and reception at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
