NORTH BALTIMORE - Makayla Dull captured medalist honors and two teammates broke 90 Monday as Lakota claimed second at the Elmwood Royal Invitational at Birch Run.
Dull, the reigning girls Division II state champ, carded a 75 to beat Hopewell-Loudon's Bryce Gorrell by a stroke for the individual title.
McComb upended the Raiders 342-350 for the team championship in the eight-team field.
Hunter Chalfin followed Dull with an 82, Collin Gosche shot an 88 and Dillon Schiebel had a 105. Nathan Walter (131) also played for Lakota.
Hopewell-Loudon finished third with a 353 behind Gorrell's effort and Garret Sendelbach's 87.
Fostoria edged St. Wendelin 365-267 for fourth.
Trey Yates turned in a 79 for Fostoria and Robby Crotty shot a 91.
St. Wendelin got an 82 from Joey DeHaven and an 84 from Mackenzie McAfee
Bucks knock back Mansfield
NEW WASHINGTON - Lydia Shealy fired a 45 Monday to lead Buckeye Central past Mansfield 206-242 at Cranberry Hills.
Maddie Fagan added a 48 for the Bucks, Megan McGinnis shot a 56 and Grace Blevins added a 57. Ashlee Stander (62) and Sara Stacklin (64) also played for Buckeye Central.
TC finishes ninth at Clyde
CLYDE- Columbian placed ninth out of 16 teams Monday at the Ralph Hohenstein Classic at Green Hills.
Bellevue won the event with 296 points.
Clyde edged out the Tornadoes for eighth by a 345-354 margin, while Old Fort finished 13th with 388. Columbian got an 80 from Jack Burkes. Graydon Bunting just missed Burkes with an 81. For the Tornadoes, Wesley Henkel added a 95 and Jared Consolo fired a 98.
Mohawk takes first in Elks Invitational
BUCYRUS- Brayden Dunlap shot a 78 to earn medalist honors for Mohawk as the Warriors edged Upper Sandusky for first by a 351-352 margin at the Bucyrus Elks Invitational.
Chet Margraf chipped in an 84 for the Warriors and received runner-up honors. Carson Weinandy added a 91, while Bill Dunlap carded a 98 in the win.
