Christine (Vera) Mundschau, 56, died suddenly Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her home in Longmont, Colorado.
She was born Oct. 27, 1957, in Tiffin, to Joe and Marie Vera. She married Dr. Michael Mundschau and he survives in Longmont.
Christine graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in fine arts. She was a freelance graphics designer. She also created beautiful jewelry and was a gifted artist in many areas.
Survivors also include her mother of Tiffin; grandmother, Louise Zirger of Tiffin; daughter, Erin of Boulder, Colorado; siblings, Jeanne (Bryan) Ardner of Garner, North Carolina, Mark Vera of Suwanee, Georgia, Tony (Tina Laugherty) Vera of Tucson, Arizona, and Dan (Christy Free) Vera of Tiffin. Christine also was an aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she treasured and nurtured with her love of nature, running, hiking and artistic talent.
She was preceded in death by her father in July 2013.
Christine will be remembered by her boundless energy, love for God, family and the mountains, where she ran almost daily.
A celebration of her life will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont, Colorado.
A memorial service will be at a later date in Tiffin.
