GALION - Upper Sandusky opened its season at the Galion Invitational Wednesday. The Rams finished fifth out of seven teams in the event posting a team score of 372.
Clear Fork edged out Ontario 333-334 for the team title. Norwalk (340) took third followed by Shelby (367) and the Rams.
Bucyrus (382) and Galion (419) rounded out the scoring.

Cody?Clifford topped the Rams with an 89. Shane Stansberry backed him with a 92, Tommy Martin fired a 94 and Evan Scheck added a 97.
Tigers tame competition
MANSFIELD - Seneca East's Johnny Diehm took medalist honors and the Tigers took the top spot at a tri-meet Monday at Possum Run. The Tigers posted a 170, beating out Colonel Crawford (182) and Mansfield Christian (192).
Diehm's 40 was the low round of the afternoon. Also for Seneca East, Austin Holmer and Braedon Tipple each carded 42s while Riley Kalb chipped in with a 46.
Stockader girls 3rd at North Baltimore
NORTH BALTIMORE - Old Fort's girls shot 463 as a team, good enough for third place at the season opening North Baltimore Invitational Wednesday at Birch Run. Peyton Miller led the Stockaders shooting 103 for 18 holes. Caylie Menkhoff knocked in four pars on her way to a 111. Also for Old Fort, Sammy Miller shot 119 and Megan Zimmerman shot 130.
Host North Baltimore beat out Van Buren 362-373 for the team title. Mansfield (482) and Genoa (488) rounded out the standings.
Bucks open season strong
NEW WASHINGTON - Buckeye Central's girls started their season on a strong note, posting a 212-234 win over Elmwood at Cranberry Hills. Lydia Shealy led the Bucks with a 47.
Also for Buckeye Central, Maddie Fagan posted a 52, Megan McGinnis shot a 55 and Ashlee Stander carded a 58.
