Ruth M. "Mac" Stephens, 82, of Clyde, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at her home.
She was born March 12, 1932, in Leon, West Virginia, to Tobias and Roxie (Burgess) Mattox. She married William Stephens June 6, 1951, in Fostoria and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, William "David" (Lawrie) Stephens of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Kathy (Steve) Magers of Bellevue and Kristine Stephens and Treva (Paul) Smith, both of Clyde; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Faye Pullins of Princeton, West Virginia.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, James Mattox; two brothers, William and Earl Mattox; and one grandson.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson, Clyde, OH 43410.
The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Brown Street, Clyde, with additional calling from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
