James M. Hohman, 77, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:18 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
Jim was born February 12, 1937, in Tiffin, to the late Marion and Marguerite (Shaull) Hohman. He married Anne (Mitten) at St. Mary Catholic Church,Tiffin, on Oct. 6, 1978 and she survives.
Survivors include his son, Tony Hohman of Tiffin; a daughter, Sarah (Justin) Dill of Worthington; two grandsons, Jackson Hohman of Tiffin and Ethan Dill of Worthington; six brothers, Fred Hohman of Findlay, Phil Hohman of Tiffin, Howard Hohman of Tiffin, Gary Hohman of Tiffin, Mike Hohman of Findlay, Dean Hohman of Tiffin; and a sister, Lori Weininger of Norwalk.
He also was preceded in death by his two brothers, Buzz and Bill Hohman.
Jim retired from Whirlpool, Clyde, and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a 1955 graduate of Tiffin Calvert and a U.S. Army veteran.
Private family graveside services will be at St. Jacob cemetery with military rites being rendered by United Veterans Council. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
