Arthur E. Wyant, 74, of Arlington, and formerly Risingsun, died Thursday evening, July 24, 2014, at Bridge Hospice Center, Findlay.
He was born April 26, 1940, in Kansas, to Earl and Bertha (Rinebold) Wyant. He married Dona M. Woessner Aug. 2, 1986, in Oldham County, Kentucky, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis (Carolyn) Wyant of Fremont and Scott (Tambi) Wyant of Kansas; a daughter, Julie (Alex) McGown of Kansas; two stepsons, Jeff (Jane) Mortimer of Port Clinton and Paul (Tanya) of Bellevue; a son in-law, Duane Dunfee of Fremont; a brother, Joe (Sally) Wyant of Fremont; a sister, Jean (Dick) Stein of Winterhaven, Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter, Laurie Dunfee; a brother, Richard Wyant; a sister, Shirley Sullivan; and a grandchild.
Arthur retired in 2005 as a truck driver for McRitchie Stone Co., West Millgrove.
His funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, with the Rev. Duane Dunfee officiating.
Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
