Ronald Earl Cook

Ronald Earl Cook, 77, of Vanlue, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born April 7, 1937, in Hancock County, to Orville and Eva (LaRue) Cook. He married Regina A. Smith Jan. 22, 1956, and she survives in Vanlue.

Also surviving are four children, Ronda (Bill) Mason of Missouri City, Texas, Robert (Dana) Cook of Cary, Illinois, Rita (Deke) Roberts of Findlay and Robin (Jerry) Bowser of Delta; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Orville (Pat) Cook of Bainbridge, Dorothy Armstrong of Findlay, Bill (Dee) Cook of Vanlue and Larry (Dreah) Cook of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Doug Cook; and a sister, Marge Secord.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey and one hour prior to his funeral Monday at the church.

His funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Vanlue United Methodist Church, Vanlue with the Rev. David Noel officiating. Burial will follow at Van Horn Cemetery, near Vanlue.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316-1169.
